Naked

Stripped as you are before everyone,
You are loved for better or for worse,
Stripped as you are before this pair of eyes,
You are the sun shining in the sky.
Your clothes and skin might not suffice,
But you are indescribably beautiful in all your nakedness.
And not all are privileged to see that.
Simply because their eyes were pierced by the distorted image of beauty,
They fail to see reality.
How imperfectly stunning and delightful it is-
in all its nakedness.
Stripped as you are, I see the shimmer within,
Which had long been masked by that stern face.
Stripped as you are, you exploded as bits of stars,
Brighter than those who had bright garments all over them.
Stripped as you are in all your grotesque charm,
No one can ever take away the light in your eyes.
You are art in its enigmatic and rare form.
No one will ever see that once-in-a-lifetime beauty,
In all its nakedness.
Deep within, you are hidden.
Ah my brilliant reality.
